Burnley Pendle & BeyondA DVD exploring the countryside, nature, sights and sounds of Burnley, Pendle and Lancashire, sold in aid of Pendleside Hospice.“I was inspired to produce this video film because of my love for nature and also to show people what is out there and not a million miles from their own doorstep.” This phrase has been taken from my DVD and is a good indication as to why I came up with the idea of producing my own informational film. It all started at the back of our house in Heald Wood which I walk through everyday with my two dogs. As the seasons changes so does the wood. This gave me an idea to make a film and show people just how beautiful the wood can be at different times of the year, however it didn’t stop there. At every opportunity my friend and I go walking it’s a great way to see the surrounding countryside and it also takes you away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life I think it’s a great way to relax and de stress. The DVD is presented in a case with a printed insert and the cost will be £5.99 each inc. P&P Burnley, Pendle and LancashireI then realized that my hometown of Burnley is surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery so I thought why not take it further and film around the Lancashire Area showing people just what an amazing place we live in. So of I went in all weathers filming shots of not just the scenery and wildlife but also some of the people that live and work here. It took me over 12 months to film and produce this DVD and I hope that I have been able to capture some of the truly wonderful places that we have in and around the county of Lancashire. Pendleside HospiceAll profits from the sales of this DVD will be donated to our Local Pendleside Hospice a charity close to my heart. Pendleside Hospice meets the needs of people with cancer or life-threatening illnesses in the Burnley and Pendle area.Care is given unconditionally and free of charge to adults who need it regardless of religious or cultural belief.

I sat down this afternoon and watched the film, I found it educational, informative and inspirational. As a fellow Lancastrian I happen to think that Lancashire is one of if not the most diverse County in England and I think you reflected this perfectly in your film.
